Membership to CDC is free and open to any voluntary organisation or community interest company who works with or for disabled children and young people with SEN.

To become a CDC member your organisation must be:

  • A registered charity or Community Interest Company with a special interest in disabled children and young people with SEN
  • Based in England
  • Committed to the CDC values and our policy on inclusion

If you’re part of a national organisation who is already a member then congratulations – you’re a member too! Please contact your parent organisation to see if you can be their representative at CDC Member Meetings. To check whether your parent organisation is already a member take a look at the members list here.

Please make sure before applying that your organisation has agreed that you can apply for membership on their behalf.

We still want to hear from you

If you are a local authority, public body or academic institute you can still get involved and stay in touch with CDC through our newsletters and quarterly Digest which you can sign up for here. We host lots of events, organise training and produce lots of useful guides for practitioners across every sector so please keep in touch for more details about these opportunities.
