The BIBIC provide services to children and young people aged 6 months to 18 years, with neurological and genetic conditions including Cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, as well as children with no diagnosis. These conditions affect their social, physical, communication and learning abilities.
The BIBIC will support children in all areas of their development, which comprise vision, gross motor skills (larger movements like crawling), fine motor skills (smaller movements like self- feeding), language comprehension (understanding what people are saying), expressive language (explaining oneself), social skills, independence (self-care skills), cognitive skills (the skills that enable us to think and learn), sensory processing (responding to messages from our senses), memory and auditory processing (understanding what we hear) and academic skills (reading and writing).
In addition they provide help and support to families, enabling them to better understand their child's condition which, in turn, will enable them to cope better with the impact on family life. BIBIC is a charity that is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. For over 43 years they have developed and honed our methods to be able to offer the quality service we have today.
